Privates, classes, groups lessons......
Every Friday night @ 7:30pm.   Learn Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep and Tango, even Argentine tango with it's sensual rhythm.  Foxtrot just like "Dancing with the Stars". Stay on afterwards for some fun social dancing!

Learn new steps with or without a partner.  Beginners to Advanced.

Waltz to the wonderful music, tango to the best South American music or learn to Rock and Roll. Learn socially or try a private lesson.  We teach all levels, for fun, competition, performances.

Learn Old Time New Vogue - Step it out with the New Vogue dances such as Charmaine, Pride of Erin or Swing Waltz.  Every Wednesday from 11am til 4pm.

Jazz

Jazz classes all incorporate exercise and dance with the latest music leading the student through different styles, traditional jazz and theatrical culminating with performances throughout the year.  This gives all the students such alot of self confidence and poise, as well as a real appreciation of music.  It can even lead them towards a career.

 

Street Latin

Street Latin classes take place every Wednesday - 7:30pm, 8:30pm and 9:30pm.  Beginner to Advanced.  New 'Early Bird" special class Wednesday 6:30 pm - "LATIN FEVER" street latin beginners class for those who wish to perform.
You will learn to Salsa, Cha Cha, Merengue, Mambo and the Lambada and more with a partner, solo and in progressive dances.
Social dancing to 11:00 pm. Refreshments available.

Latin American

Latin for Latin lovers!  Rumba, Cha Cha, Jive and Samba for the beginners or enthusiasts.  Thursday 6:30 pm, 7:30 pm and 8:30 pm.

Theatrical Dance

Styles -

1) Classical Ballet students train with fully qualified instructors under the RAD syllabus. Train for exams, performances and share the studio with very talented staff and students.
2) Jazz / Funk (see above)
3) Kindermusik (see below)
4) Tiny Tots (see below)
5) Movement to Music (see below)
6) Competition students and Social Students train under the Australian Dancing Society and perform all over Melbourne.
7) School Students particularly our VCE students travel overseas for extended training with our "Sister studio" in Singapore and study Chinese Dancing, Martial Arts etc..
8) Studio is a Full Time Dancing Studio with full studies for all enthusiastic students to further their education.
 

Movement to Music for 3 - 5 Year Olds

These classes are designed especially to encourage a love of music in young children. They develop the child's imagination and gives them a good idea of all styles of dance. i.e. Classical Ballet, Jazz, Song & Dance and Theatrical.  We also encourage the child with programs of exercise and dance routines, all for their own age group.  Each child has their own rate of progress, so the emphasis is not on the first, or the quickest to learn, but on their social skills, plus the ability to just 'join in' very much like the television program "Playschool".

We also believe that children need a small amount of class discipline in their dress, so we hope to encourage them to wear the accepted leotard and tights for comfort, hair tied back, and either jiffies or bare feet. This creates the feeling that their "ballet" class is special, which it is.   Remember, this is a whole new world for littlies, it is possibly their first time away from mum, and should be a wonderful experience!

Vogue School of Performing Arts also offers Jazz Ballet, Classical Ballet, Tap and Theatrical dancing to all age groups.

Tiny Tots Class

Special Movement to Music classes for littlies 2 - 4 yrs old

Give your child the gift of music with our fun filled song and dance development classes.  Littlies are introduced to various musical instruments, children's songs and rhymes. It is a wonderful musical and dance learning experience for this special age group.  Littlies can also perform if they wish, and dress up as they love to do.  Mum or Dad can stay and join in too.........  Please dress children in comfortable clothing.

Musical Theatre Workshops

Explore all aspects of Music Theatre - Voice, Stagecraft, Dance & Movement, Theatre Performance, Drama and Character Development, Audition Preparation and Technique.

Some past Theatre Workshops include Cinderella, Peter Pan, Aladdin & Dorothy and the Wiz, you can look forward to our "Yet to be Named" Extravaganza which will take place in mid 2005.

The Musical Theatre Workshop is a three day intensive workshop run during school holidays, including a performance and completion presentation.    Ages 18yrs and below from Beginners to Advanced.

Kindermusik

Give your child the gift of music with our fun filled song and dance development classes. Be introduced to various musical instruments, childrens songs and rhymes. It is a wonderful musical learning experience for both parent and child.

Dance Parties

For children from 5 years of age to teens.  Theme parties, fancy dress parties or dance parties, disco parties and children's fairy parties - wee have it all!

Just think, no setting up, no mess, and heaps of fun for the birthday person and guests.  What could be easier!
